A nice pair of rustic billiard pipes, probably from the 50s! I base this on the fact that Briarcraft, who originally made the brand, made them with a space In the tenon for a metal inner tube and both ends of a pipe cleaner. Later versions of this pipe didn’t have that space. The bent one is about 5 1/2” long, bowl is 1 3/4” tall, 1 3/8” wide. ID 3/4”, depth 1 1/2”. The straight one is about 6” long, bowl is 1 3/4” tall, 1 3/8” wide. ID 13/16”, depth 1 5/8”. Both ...pipes are marked SMOKE MASTER BARD, other side IMPORTED BRIAR. An orange diamond is inlaid on side of each bit. No other marks detected. Each bit is well-seated push fit, cleaned and polished, each with a hint of chatter. Both stummels are reddish colored, nicely carved rustication, both with smooth clean rims and lightly caked bowls. Clean pipes in fine condition for their age! Please examine photos and ask questions. 2 or 3 pipes ship for the same price as 1.
