Vintage Estate Kiko Meer Lined Rustic Billiard Pipe - Early 60s

This style of pipe with the elephant logo and Meer lining was known as “Kiko Rough”. About 5 1/2” long, bowl is 1 3/4” tall, 1 3/8” wide. ID 3/4”, depth 1 1/2”. Marked beneath shank KIKO, MADE IN TANGANYIKA (This designation indicates pre-1963). An elephant is stamped on side of bit. No other marks detected.
Bit is slightly overclocked screw fit, cleaned and polished, showing oxidation and a hint of chatter. Stummel is midnight colored and randomly rusticated—doesn�...��t seem to be blasted, fully intact thick Meer lining. Other than some wear highlights, excellent condition!
