Antique Victorian silver plate religious ladle for serving Last Rites. Made of "Special Metal, " manufactured by "Holman Silver Plate Company. Patented 1897." Ladle shaped bowl designed to dispense contents into mouth with ease. Small, curved handle. Handle embossed w/Cross flanked by symbolic shaft of wheat/grape vine tied together with bow. Handle has wear on underside of base (see photo). Good condition. 4 5/8" Long end to end x 2 1/2" Wide Bowl x 1" Deep Bowl
