This is an antique Victorian etched calling card case. It is not marked for Sterling but looks good without any wear if it is silverplated. It is 3 15/16" by 2 3/4" and opens on a hinge but it looks like the peg of the hinge is replaced. When I bought it I though it was just a loop to attach it to something. Condition is very good, no wear but around the etched designs it needs cleaning as it shows a little discoloring around it in certain light but otherwise it is hardly noticeable.
