STUNNING SOLID 18K ROSE GOLD VINTAGE CHRONOGRAPHE SUISSE - LANDERON

Up for auction is a stunning 18K solid rose gold Chronographe Suisse in excellent condition! The dial, hands, caseback and all other pieces are all original. This watch has had very little wrist time. Although there are few bumps here and there, considering the age (over 70 years) it really is quite amazing.
The watch runs great and is keeping excellent time. It was recently looked over by a local watch maker who checked and oiled the piece, and made sure the chronograph is fu...nctioning as it should. However, I do not know the service history.
For a 1940's watch, it's also quite large. As you can see in the photo above, it has an excellent wrist presence, and can be worn to a wedding or even to less formal occasions. I have fairly small wrists (the largest watch I own is 39mm) and this one just fits perfectly. It also comes with a virtually brand new Hadley Roma black leather strap. The applied markers and blue tick marks really add a lot to this watch when viewed from certain angles. Also, depending on the angle, it will look either more of a champagne color, or a darker gold. It really is beautiful to look at.
Although this is by far my favorite vintage piece that I own, other life issues are forcing me to finally part with it (as well as a few others). I do hope it can find a good home with an owner that can appreciate the watch as much as I have.
