offeredis a very nice 1930's 2 color modernistic enamel art deco ronson"tuxette" combination cigarette case and automatic petrollighter. the chrome plated lighter features a dark blue with lite blue lacquer zig-zag deco enamel design. this design is very showy. thetuxette utilizes a streamline long thumb press automatic one motionfitment mechanism - not found on other ronsons. the tuxette case hasan wonderful airflow slim body design and was meant to hold 5non-filter cigarettes. the tu...xette was first designed by louis v.aronson of newark in 1931 and only came in a few designs andcolorways. the interior features ronson's machined jeweled circulardesign marked art metal works with patent information. i have shown an old ronson ad featuring this model. louis v.aronson is considered the most important lighter inventor of the 20thcentury. the case measures about 3-7/8" tall x 1-7/8" wide and isin good used condition. the lacquer enamel has good coloring with typical minor loss. the back enamel shows typical minor use and wear but is complete. the mechanism moves correctly but is untested and the lighter shouldoperate correctly with proper service of fuel and flint. an agedflint may need removal for use. overall - a rare and showy 2 color blue enamel art deco ronson combination "tuxette" case lighter for yourcollection.ad not included in salePLEASE VIEW MY "LARRY LIGHTER" VINTAGE LIGHTER POSTS ON FACEBOOKusa is first class ship cost. overseas is first class airmail except the SHIP COST to italy-china-HK-eastern europe-russia-spain-greece-taiwan- via usps priority mail only-$40.
