While Dunhill's earlier Algerian briar blasts were the most well known for showing superb grain, sometimes you find an exceptional one in the mid to late 60's like this 1969 LBS! The Large Billiard Slender is just a tad less muscular than the standard LB yet still retains all the facets of what makes it one of the most sought after shapes of all time. The big bowl feels perfect in hand and carries extra thick walls surrounding the deep and generous chamber. Shank is thick and round and... meets the original vulcanite fishtail stem with crisp white spot. Finish is classic Shell, a deep burgundy that is beautiful while the blast shows off some of the finest and tightest birdseye grain on the left side of the bowl that you could ask for while the right displays stunning ring grain. In excellent condition throughout, this one is not to be missed!
