Dunhill's LB is one of the finest English shapes ever made and renowned for it's exceptional smoking characteristics. It's one of those pipes that just feels right in the hand. The muscular bowl has extra thick walls and for a Group 4 it is certainly on the bigger side of the spectrum with a generous chamber. The thick bowl tapers at the base and transitions to the classic chubby round shank and meets a very well done vulcanite replacement stem with crisp white spot and straight bit. T...he Shell finish is beautiful, deep burgundy with red accents. Although a 1960's, sometimes you get lucky and find a stunning blast with this one fitting that profile. The relief is amazing showing loads of deep birdseye pockets throughout as well as vertical and horizontal ring grain. Despite the replacement stem, this pipe is otherwise near mint!
