Look at this barn find recently discovered and ready for a new home. This guitar is a nice example of what vintage martins are all about.

Martin 0-17 with (non original) Case.This guitar would be a wonderful instrument for any serious guitar collector. Serial Number: 650xx (1936)This is an original Martin from the “Pre-War” period – model 0-17. Completely made of Mahogany.
The Martin Pre-War g...uitars are legendary among steel string guitars. At that time Martin guitars were still built in limited numbers. For each instrument selected high-quality materials were used and each instrument was tuned and optimized individually (this stopped in the 40’s and 50’s).
- The tuners are presumed original- The condition of the body is used, with various surface wear.- An area of damage on the top left rear of the body, but does not appear to go through to interior wood of body. ((Please see photos)) frets look pretty low, and the saddle is shaved down fairly low so will need a neck reset at some point in its life but it is indeed playable for now. I used a black light to see if anything was done to guitar (repairs etc) and couldn’t find anything.
