For your consideration is my 1973 Gibson Byrdland hollow body electric guitar. I purchased this guitar in Florida from the original owner. This particular example, serial number 801239, is in very excellent all original condition aside from the pickguard having deteriorated from notorious gassing. No breaks, no cracks, no repairs, no issues. As you can see, this oxidation affected both original gold Pat. No. stamp pickup covers, and even several frets. I have polished them by hand... for setup (Pryamid .011 flatwounds) purposes only, but didn't go too far down that road with respect to any attempt to restore the original appearance. This is a beautiful example of this model, and it's a real joy to play. It does not include the original case. This guitar is being sold with No Reserve, a $.01 Minimum bid, and Free USA shipping. May the high bid win! Thanks and please don't hesitate to inquire. (All 28 photos below are of the actual guitar for sale.)
