Original Description:
The holy grail of mid century modern furniture. An Eames by Herman Miller lounge chair. The bottom is stamped and marked with a 1978 date. Recently purchased from an estate, this chair is in good condition overall. Two small cat scratches are present on the headrest and one is on the cushion, both are very minor. 
The chair is extremely comfortable with its permanent tilt back. The desirable rosewood is lightly faded as shown near the top from sitting in the sun. One slight cra...ck in the metal base is present on the bottom as pictured. It does not affect the chair or base at all.
If you’ve been looking for an Eames lounge chair this is the one. A matching ottoman is easy enough to find or you can enjoy the chair by itself. These chairs are an amazing investment that you can use as they increase in value.
