ANTIQUE CHINESE EXPORT SILVER BOWL ON STAND CHRYSANTHEMUMS / HANDLES - LARGEA large antique export Chinese silver bowl. (This has been tested for silver but grade not clarified - therefore 800 to 1000). Weight 1kg and 45 grams (approximately). Approx 33.6 troy ounces.
Dimensions: 13 3/4" including handles approximately.
Bowl size 9" diameter.
Height 6" not including stand.
Original carved wooden stand as in photos.
Item engraved with a 1905 date as per photos....r>Pattern is floral ~ Chrysanthemums.The foot is uneven and has been pushed in on one side as seen in photos. There are no obvious large dings or dents with the exception of compression to foot. There are scratches and surface marks. Interior upper rim has a limescale type build up. I have cleaned using natural methods (eg bicarbonate etc) but it still needs work to remove final residues. It also needs a proper clean as this still has deep dark patina in crevices and is still not thoroughly cleaned.
This is not signed, but there are some soldering marks that resemble markings but nothing concise to assign a maker.Apologies for rubbish photos. I tried my best.PostageUK Special Delivery Insured £ 30.00
