Here isMadame Alexander’s classic Wendy doll from the 1930’s/40’s. This a gorgeous old doll in all her originalpaint and strawberry blond mohair wig. She has been restrung and is in beautiful condition with clear bluesleep eyes with all their original lashes and brows and her tiny cupids bow mouth. Wendy isdressed in a vintage, sheer yellow dress with puffed sleeves, fitted bodice andfull skirt. (not sure if this is heroriginal dress and petticoat....) Thebodice and sleeves are trimmed in yellow satin ribbon and tiny doll sized lacepanels. There is a set-in yellow satinribbon around her waist and a bow centered with a yellow satin rose and brightgreen leaves.Underneathshe is wearing a very full, vintage silk petticoat with a tucked hem and tinylace edging and a pair of matching lace trimmed bloomers – each with a littleyellow satin bow.On her feet area brand-new pair of white “leather” pumps laced in white satin ribbon and bowand centered with two more yellow satin roses. The “pieced' resistance” is the big fluffy, yellow organza bow on her head.
