Vintage SOM Berthoit Pan-Cinor 10mm-30mm f2.8 zoom lens in D mount originally made for 8mm movie cameras. Made in France.
The lens and viewfinder glass are clean with no scratches or internal haze. The viewfinder is positioned in front of the aperture so it's always bright, no matter what aperture you have set. The viewfinder tube rotates up to 180 degrees forward so you can open the film compartment on a camera. The lens stops down to f16 max.
The front screw that holds th...e zoom lever to the barrel of the lens has stripped and the barrel of the lens was sanded in an attempt of a repair. The zoom itself, pushes in and out to change the focal length, and is smooth. The focus is stiff, the aperture ring is smooth and has no clickstops. The lens can be used with zoom lever completely detached.
No caps, but included is the original lens shade.
