19th Century Fijian Ula War Club With Inserts, Fiji

19th century Ula Drisisa Ironwood throwing war club with special engravements under the head and with small hols that seems to hold shell inserts,  there are still some in place as can be seen on the pictures. Also the bottom of the shaft has a some carvings and a hole that would have held an insert.
With manny killer marks and stains on the shaft of the club.Much used with cracks and dry aged patina,  but still a very solid killer club.
Length 41 cm...Widest diameter head is 9, 5 cm 
Provenance: Old Parisian collection via a French auction house
