This unbelievable solid 18 carat gold flower ring dates to the late Georgian period - around 1810. It’s set with some of the most luscious seed pearls I’ve ever seen, clustered around a wonderful pure green natural emerald in an eyecatching flower arrangement, with triple fluted embellishment to each petal.The best part about this ring though, is its shoulders. In wonderful deep 3d, they’re both modelled as flowers, with intricately hand crafted petals and scrolled stems leading ...to tiny hand engraved pearl terminals. One shoulder has darkened due to age tarnish - this will brighten back up if desired by wearing, or a little proprietary gold polish.
