For the art collector: This exquisite art nouveau porcelain vase holds markings from the late 1890s, Austria. The "nymph with lilies", or Lily-of the-Valley, is an intricate design from this period. There is wear consistent with age; also a hairline crack at the base that does not appear to go through to the inside (see photo) and a rough spot is noted on the side, below the nymph (see photo). If you have questions, please ask before bidding. This vase meas...ures approximately 14" high, 6.5" wide. Markings on the bottom of the vase include: a rectangle with "Paris 1900 RStK" and another marking that reads in red "TURN-TEPLITZ BOHEMIA RStK" surrounding the pottery mark, and imprinted in the porcelain are the numbers "738" and then below that "1", and "MADE IN AUSTRIA".
