For additional pictures Click on "Read More" This Hard to Find, Early Ronson piece is in excellent condition.This stately looking lighter was the one of the first model automatic table lighters created by the Ronson Company. It is called the Tabourette and is figure 236 in “Ronson the World’s Greatest Lighter” by Urban Cummings. These models were first introduced in 1927. This model features the “Old Standard” fitment and is marked Ronson De-Lite. The Ronson’s automatic De...-Lite Models were made during the early days, when Ronson had a monopoly on the automatic lighters (Which was their invention). The body of this vintage lighter was Chrome Plated, and the two sides are covered with brown morocco leather. It is free of any dents or dings and the leather is complete with only the smallest of nicks in one corner that does not detract – please see pictures provided. The monogram shield has never been inscribed. The fitment is tight and snappy sparking well. The flint tube is clear and as always, and a new flint has been installed for your convenience.
