Welcome to Antiques & Moore!This listing is for a lovely 19th Century Japanese cloisonne on bronze vase decorated with numerous colorful enamel flowers on the body of the vase and within the six green Ginbari (foil) background medallions surrounding the center of the body. The main background color is black with decoration of multi-colored flowers and borders. The interior is decorated with an application of dark green enamel and the base is solid bronze.Measures 9 3/4" high with a... top diameter of 2", a maximum width of 3 134" and a base diameter of 2 1/4". Weighs 12.4 ounces.This nice vase is in very good Estate condition with no noted flaws. There is some minor unevenness on the outer edge of the base although the vase stands evenly. The are also some very minor pits in the enamel decoration from production which in no way detracts from the beauty of this vase.
