Description:This lovely 18th century French silk pelmet , probably had been used as the top of curtain ( there are hooks on the back side )The fabric is comprised of two different 18th century silk stripes, the first one is a golden yellow, with white, mauve and green.The second stripe is white with tones of blue, green and very pale pink. The pelmet is surrounded on all four sides with an early metallic trimOn the botto...m there is a lovely golden metallic fringe.
Measurement 39" W X 12 " L
Condition:Excellent.There is an early natural linen backing on the back sideWonderful to be used again or for designers !Heavier weight
