Antique Qing? Dynasty Silk Chinese Skirt
I’m unsure of the origin or age of this skirt but from my research, it appears to be Qing dynasty.
This is a two piece wrap skirt in gorgeous red and black silk with pale blue silk lining and stunning gold embroidery. Each piece has pleating along the sides and four knotted buttons with two sets of loops which make it slightly adjustable.
Commensurate with age, there is some discoloration to the fabric is some places and several hems ...that have come loose. Please see photos for details. Feel free to message me with questions or more photos.
Length from waist band to hem of both pieces is approximately 39”Width from side to side of 1st piece is approximately 29.5” and 2nd piece is approximately 30”
