Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Very beautiful mid to Late 19th century salt glazed 2 gallon stoneware whiskey jug with a very large and vibrant cobalt blue design! Weighs 9lbs 5oz and is 14" tall by about 9" wide. A few heat marks are visible, handle is intact, and no cracks to speak of(: however along the rim of the spout there is a small chip missing that is roughly 3/4". Just imagine about 150 YEARS ago a business that hand crafted these, no two being alike!!!! Its truly a wond...erful piece of early Americana and a excellent show/Talk piece. Thanks and enjoy this(:
