Here is a nice Cretodus shark tooth from the Cretaceous, Austin Chalk / Eagle Ford contact zone known as the ATCO. This is a lamniform shark from the Late Cretaceous of Texas. Actually Cretodus was a super successful and wide-ranged shark from the dinosaur age. Specimens have been found all over the world.
Slant height of the specimen is 1 3/8 inches (37 mm)Straight height is 33 mm.
