Stromberg Carlson Antique Wooden Wall Telephone w/Fancy Transmitter & Receiver
Antique wooden wall telephone by Stromberg Carlson with a floral design transmitter box and early bakelite plastic spitcup mouthpiece. Original 1895/96 transmitter that is patent dated on the metal and reads The Stromberg-Carlson Tel. Mfg. Co. PAT Sep 10.95, SEP 8, 96 Other Pats Pend.
The phone is fairly rough and is a bit of a project needing a replacement bottom box and there is a break in the re...ceiver as well as some chips in the cap. The telephone is being sold as pictured. 
The interior side has a 5 bar magneto chrome Stromberg. Black ringer bells on the front of the top box and a metal hanger attached to the backboard of the wall phone. 
Please Note : The bells do not ring when the crank is wound.
Measurement of the wooden box is apx. 32" T X 10" W at bottom X 8.5" Depth back to shelf.
