Up for auction is this estate found Antique 19th ?  maybe french ? Bronzed Mantle Clock .I know very little about clocks and only bought it because never seen one with a insect on the dial and it also has very thick glass bezel , almost 1/4"  .I believe its bronzed type metal and is missing the top pieces and i think the key was put under it there , but I don't know if key is original , and has the pendulum and it does run  i just wound it a little with the pendulum on i...t for few minutes to see if it ran but dont know if bell works but its seems to all be  there . The clock is 14 1/2" tall and bottom of base is 9" wide .The dial is all metal and has the insect in the middle , which looks like a wasp .it is heavy at almost 14 lbs .There is some wear on the metal finish .The clock is numbered on back 17222 and on the back of the clock has the number 1 and 77 which would be behind the bell.
