Vintage Antique Violin/Fiddle, Gorgeous Tiger Maple, Very Old

Here being offered is an antique Violin or fiddle or Viola not sure what to call it but it is at least 100 yrs old from what I am told from the estate, either way here it is. I do not know much about it at all , there is no markings inside of it that I can see. I am not a player or an authority on fiddles but I do like guitars and the tiger stripe flamey maple on this instrument is gorgeous both on the back and sides and neck. The scroll is gorgeous with a black... type trim on the edges. The strings look very old and I am sure this instrument would most likely need a set up and some servicing or restoration. I do not know its history at all or what may have been done to it in the past. I'm not making any claims on its condition or what it is simply listing it as an estate found item. Just came from an estate and I'm putting it out there as found as is. I am told that the case is an expensive modern case and there is a gray tube that have some strings in it. Maybe some of you out there may know more about this instrument, I know very little about it other than it sure seems to have some real quality woods. Selling as is, all sales final on this.
