Here is a HUGE 41" Original, Vintage, Martha Chase Hospital Boy Doll. He is very heavy! He has the cloth hinged joints, so he can bend his knees and upper legs, shoulders, and elbows. His hands are very uniquely made with individual fingers. He has the Chase Hospital Yellow Label under his left arm. He is like a painted fabric doll. His face area is soiled looking and feels tacky and has a rubber feel to it. I tried to clean the forehead, but t...hought it best to leave it for the new owner to clean. He has the pierced nose nostrils and molded painted cloth applied ears. Some paint is lifting on his left upper leg joint area----see photo. His legs and shoulder joints show paint loss. I don't know if this was a doll used in a Hospital or was used as a manniquin. His Size is Most Unusual !! He really needs some better clothes---the new mommy can have fun redressing him. No smoke or bad odors.
