This FINE Extremely RARE Antique French Porcelain Tobacco Humidor boasts FIVE Individual Scenes of an American Indian Chief smoking a pipe in five circuituous individulal painted panels cicumventing its bulbous base, each panel within of a framed panel of painted pine trees (as Shown) The cover of the humidor repeats the pine tree motif and has a hand-painted Monogram.The base is signed in green: "G D A France" (which stands for Gerard-Defraisseix- Abbot)Exccellent Co...ndition.Measures: 5 3/4" High(with cover on); 4" Deep; The Opening 3 3/4"Diameter; Circumference around the Bulbous area is 17". Cover is 13 3/8" circumference, and 3/4" high.Each Scene Measures approximatley: 2 7/8" top width, 3" tall, 2" bottom width.
