This vintage 1910 "Gold Shore" litho hinged pound cut plug tobacco tin, measuring 4 1/2" x 7" x 4 1/2" in fair condition, with superficial rust on the interior and exterior bottom and some minor age related dents and paint scratches and chips. There is a partial tax stamp and a union stamp. The American Can Company designed this red white and gold tin with the striking graphics which depict the logo of a man, holding a "Gold Shore" pennant, riding Pegasus. The ...tobacco was manufactured by J.J Bagley & Company, Detroit, MI in Factory 6. 1st District, MI.
