For sale is a large plate or charger made by KPM in the early 20th century . It is quite a neat piece with the center having a hand painted monogram AS or AL and above that the German Kaiser crown . So this almost certainly belonged to royalty like a prince or something like that. I am still researching it and hopefully I can pin it down some more. I had two plates with the same design a while back which were gone in less than a week but I am unsure if the buyer knew the design :( The ...rim has a nice fluted and basket weave design to it with a gold trim to the edge. The piece is in great condition with just a bit of wear to the gilding and a tiny chip to the reverse edge only. The charger is 2.125 inches tall and 13.75 inches in diameter. It is marked underneath with the under glaze blue scepter, the red orb mark as well as some impressed marks and a puce 43 on the rim. 20thC German Germany monogramm royalty
