For sale is a superb lithophane made by KPM in the 19th century . It is one of the nicest I have ever come across and is of a scene including a town with a church and some other buildings but my favorite part is the soldiers riding horses across the bridge in the center. You can even see the dust cloud in the back surrounding the last rider. Just superb! Lithophanes are not found often made by KPM most are more modern pieces by lesser quality makers. This piece is in perfect condition ...and marked with the impressed scepter mark over the letters K.P.M and the number 725 (It think) incised under it.
