History: Acquired from the home of a local wealthy person's estate. (estate sale)Frame: Appears strong and solid constructionFabric: Has a very thin tear on seat top as seen on photos from top. Rest of fabric appears to be in good condition. Not stretched as you... would expect if a lot of movement was done on it getting up and down. Has a few stains as seen in various photos. Unsure of fabrics cleaning process or if what appears to be "yellowing" or "sun fading" can be removed.Color: Appears to be a tan or cream.

Note: Shipping really is that expensive when you get quotes from Fedex Ground or UPS Ground services!! When a box's "Length+Girth" is greater than 130", the box incurs an additional $90 fee on top of it's already large charge for it's large dimensions. The chair itself is 138" before it is even placed in a surrounding box. Plus the custom box making is expensive.
Possible alternative shipping companies: If you live in the Midwest, please let me know your zip code and I can see if you are in Spee-Dee Delivery's shipping area and then shipping might be as low as $100 with them. I can check. If you live elsewhere in USA: There is a new delivery service from Greyhound bus called Greyhound Express that allows shipping from "terminal to terminal" or "terminal to specific address" on/via their buses. When I got a quote for this chair from Minneapolis to: Boston or Atlanta or Hollywood or Seattle, it was 7-days and only about $113 if buyer picked it up at a local Greyhound station or $164 if it was delivered to their address. If more info on Greyhound's service is desired, send me your zip and I will enter it into their site and get you your local pickup location(s) and the price(s) for shipping to your local station and to your actual address. It is common in big cities, less common in medium-sized cities and usually not available in small cities.
Of course pickup will be free from my office/warehouse in Eden Prairie, MN. Let me know if picking up before purchase so I can change shipping type to "Pickup Only".
