Rare Vintage 1950s Ceramic Blue Cookie Time Cookie Jar, Japan, Mouse, Clock, near mint condition!This adorable vintage 1950s blue ceramic cookie jar is in near mint condition! Made in Japan, this near 70 plus year old cookie is in amazing condition. The cute mouse sitting atop the lid eating a cookie, on top of the base which is in the shape of a clock saying its cookie time would be a great addition to any cookie jar collection, a fun kitchsy vintage piece for any kitchen or a fun gif...t for loved one!No chip, cracks or stains. Very shiny and not glazing cracks at all! Barely any shelf marks on the bottom. Inside is very clean (dark spots are areas with darker glaze only, white spot is glare that i just couldnt get to not show in the photo.) Color variations in blue are under the glaze and from manufactoring. Very minor color loss at the mouse's feet and on the clock face which does not detract from its visual appeal. And that mouse on top is just too darn cute!!!This specific vintage original cookie jar in blue does not come up for sale often and in such great condition! Measures 11 inches tall with lid and about 7 inches wide at its widest point.Condition is commensurate with age and usage.Item will be packaged with extra stuffing and bubblewrap when shipped.Please let me know if you have any questions.Thanks for looking!
