FINE ANTIQUE 19TH C GEORGIAN SILVER MOUNTED COCONUT CUP TREEN NR!
I will be selling a good number of interesting antiques including Tribal art, Chinese and European antiques. PLEASE NOTE: This auction is in GB Pounds Sterling.This is a fine antique Georgian coconut cup with silver rim and base and the cup with a good natural brown patina. I am selling quite a numbe...r of carved nuts, treen and other antiques over the next two days (Thursday 26th and Friday 27th) so please view my other auctions. It is my policy not to end standard auctions early with a 'buy it now' and at the end of an auction I will not make second chance offers. Good overall condition. Some glue or other residue to the body of the cup - this is hardened on so I suspect it could be scraped off by someone professionally without too much trouble. A small dent in the foot but no cracks in the nut.It stands a little over 11cms tall.
Postage & Packing
I will be posting from Belgium from TUESDAY 8TH DECEMBER so please make payment as early as possible, ideally within 3 working days. PLEASE be a little patient with the post - I will get them posted asap but I work on my own, have a large amount to post and I do pack carefully. I also post in the order that things are paid for.Any delays by the postal services either at my end or abroad are rarely my fault. I always post out at the latest 3 working days after receiving cleared payment but sometimes an item is slowed up by a backlog of post or delayed whilst being processed through customs. To give you an idea it generally takes about 3-7 working days within Europe and 7 - 14 working days to the U.S. / rest of the world. If speed is of the essence then I can use a courier (UPS / DPD) but prices for couriers start at around £30 / £40GBP for the very smallest object and VERY quickly escalate depending on size, weight and destination. I add on very little, often not enough to cover the packaging materials, so the price I quote really is as fair as possible.
