This is a Honus Wagner model bat made by Pontiac Turning Co. sometime in the first decade of the 20th century. The company was acquired by Hillerich & Bradsby (Louisville Slugger) in 1912. "Wagner" is stamped into the knob twice. It measures 32" in length. There is some wood loss on the back of the barrel. The handle has been cracked and repaired. Pontiac did make professional model bats. MEARS sold a Nap Lajoie bat in 2012, which had a sim...ilar knob stamping. The last two photos are knob stampings from Nap Lajoie and Hughie Jennings model bats. They also made Frank Chance bats, but I have not found any photos with the Chance knob stamping.
