1957 Detroit Lions Program Signed by Dick "Night Train" Lane and 1958 first round draft pick Danny Lewis “45”
This is a piece of Detroit Lions history. 1957 is the year Detroit Lions won the NFL Championship (no superbowl at that time) and this program is from the November 28, 1957 Thanksgiving Day game.
It is signed by both 1958 first round draft pick Danny Lewis "45" and the famous Hall of Fame member (class of 1974) Dick "Night Train" Lane
There is an inscription ...with Night Train's signature that is a little difficult to make out. I believe it says:
"I hated this game when I finally saw it 1952-1960 I looked up here I am standing in the middle of Tiger field. It was a shock - Dick Night Train Lane"
Condition is very good for for its age. There are no wrinkles or creases on the covers. The center page is loose from staples
