1950’s Clown & Poodle Novelty Print Cotton Skirt, White Pink 32” W, 27” L
Super fun skirt. The pink clown with the black poodle jumping through hoops is a 16 panel skirt. My understanding is that these were kits. This one has the white background.The waist is 32” the length 27” not counting the 1” waistband.I minimized any processing on the skirt. I did one gentle hand wash, hang dry and a light press. There is a very light yellow area on the waistband...photographed and... a dime sized spot on the skirt...photographed. These spots are trivial.The zipper is a mess. I decided to just leave it be as the next owner may want to adjust the size anyway and the fewer holes from stitching the better. This means that the original owner used a zipper that was too long, then messed up the stitching. Someone then overstitched the zipper with navy blue thread...like WTH!! Anyway, there are no hooks and eyes or snaps on the waistband closure. (Photographed).The skirt is very sound. The colors are bright.
