Up for sale is this antique 1917 German book of Edgar Allan Poe stories, "Novellen des Todes. Mit zehn Federzeichnungen von John Jac Vrieslander." The book is overall in good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. The front board has a nice memorial skeleton illustration. The covers have some mild wear with a little bit of bowing to the boards. The binding is good and sound. The top page edge is dyed black. The interior is lightly toned fro...m age but is mostly nice and clean, though there may be the very occasional page with a light bit of soiling, grubbiness, or some kind of other minor imperfection such as a tiny chip or tear, creased page corner, etc. Generally though, it's a good copy. The book is a fairly small slim volume which measures approximately 6 3/8 inches by 4 1/2 inches and is 149 pages long. It is illustrated with a few black and white illustrations.
