The gorgeous Eastlake Cylinder Rollmop desk came from an estate in Connecticut.It is all original. The pulls on the cylinder top are a little loosebut original. I saw no other imperfections on the desk. I believe it to be cherry, definitely notoak. I am not a wood expert. It has a lovely symmetrical balance to it and the beveled glassdoors to inner shelf cabinet are very unusual. Really lovely to looks at. Not an overwhelmingpiece of furniture....
