Let me list just some of the fabulous features of this antique hand mirror: hand painted porcelain inset with a lovely woman with flowing hair and diaphanous lavender gown (after Alfons Mucha or maybe Eva Daniell?) pink roses are in her hair and she carries one at her side luster side panels in teal, magenta and cream with raised gold paste details no damage to the porcelain or paint ormolu fitting with cupids and bows a 1/4-inch-thick beveled mirror a ring for hanging artist signed ...BRICE The ormolu setting measures 8-3/8 inches long including the ring, the porcelain is 3-5/8 inches long and 2-3/4 inches at the widest point. The source of the porcelain is undetermined if from Limoges, Austria, or Bavaria.Condition is very good with these minor flaws: some scratches and one very small dark spot on the mirror surface, missing gold on the righthand cupid and on the beading at the bottom of the porcelain. To balance that, the gold on the ormolu filagree at the top is still bright and shiny on the mirror side.
