Original Description:
This antique Limoges plate has an unusual hand painted Art Nouveau design. It is marked in green with the initials J. P. (Jean Pouyat) over a line, and L. (Limoges) France, underneath. This mark indicates that it was made between 1890 and 1902. The plate was most likely painted by a hobby artist with the initials K.V.W.
The 8 1/2" plate is in good condition with no cracks or chips. The painting on the plate is well done in blue, greens and pink. There are some small a...reas where the paint may be missing. Please see all photos for complete description.
