This listing features a two (2) slab lot of large and top quality petrified wood agatized and opalized wood slabs originating from Grassy Mountain in Malheur County Oregon and a splendid slab of fossil wood from the Ruby Mountains in Nevada! The detailed cellular replacement, strongly agatized grain and visually pleasing variety of colors make this fossil wood highly desirable among all petrified wood collectors. The translucent agate really creates a three dimensional vision of t...he prehistoric wood when wet or polished! Together, both fossil wood slabs weigh 9.8 ounces exactly. The large top quality Grassy Mountain display specimen slab measures 137mm by 95mm by 5mm and weighs 4.9oz exactly. The highly translucent, agatized slab with botryoidal and druzy activity along the bark weighs 4.9 ounces and measures 135mm by 97mm by 5.5mm. Both specimens were photographed while wet excluding the final two photographs which display both sides of both slabs while dry. I will combine shipping for multiple purchases as long as the specimens can be packaged in a manner that will minimize the potential for damage.
