Antique Dutch East India Company Pocket Ledger (2027)

An antique Dutch East India Company Pocket Ledger. Leather bound with silver mounts and gilded page edges. In good condition with a good spine but a little frayed at the corners. Would have had a silver pin to secure the covers together via the silver loops at the side. Mostly empty, but has a few pages inscribed in pencil of lists, some cargo and some monetary. The pages have some foxing but are still sound. The silver mounts have the company logo over the letter 'D', possibly denotin...g a particular ship. The ledger measures approx 11 x 17 x 1.5cm.
