Antique Victorian cameo brooch, Italian hand carved lava cameo of a lady in a 3/4 pose, oval, lava actually comes in many colors, this one is basically tan, the delicate leaf & ball open work mounting is gold-filled, measuring 1-3/8" x 1-1/4" overall, condition: the face is worn as you can see in the photos, the mounting is missing a leaf at the lower right hand side (at 5 o'clock), the pin & clasp are a later replacement, 2 of the 4 balls have dings.
