This is an auction for an original c1905 KODAK 7A 8 X 10 INCH studio portrait camera, 1A SEMI-CENTENNIAL KODAK stand, an ILEXPO large format pneumatic shutter and a 250mm 10" ZEISS Jena brass TESSAR F/4.5 barrel lens c. 1903. The camera has been restored and all wood is excellent, near mint {restored 1980's}{no name plate}. The camera has a red bellows {excellent} and an 8x10 ground glass sliding repeating back. There is even the original bellows support bellow the extended long bellow...s, also there is the original metal pieces at top for holding the wire structure for the focusing cloth, see foto. The back has 2 movements, side to side focus and foreground to distance. The repeating back is for more than 1 image on a single negative. I have extra film holders, I'll include 1 wooden 8x10 film holder with this auction, in good working condition. The KODAK 1A stand works excellent and is complete, other than 1 wheel at rear. The ILEXPO shutter works excellent and is recessed so a large lens can be mounted on the front standard. The lens functions excellent and all glass is excellent, no cleaning marks, no hazing, no fogging etc. This studio camera came from the ANTIQUE CAMERA MUSEUM owned by Jim Williams of Milford Ohio, which I purchased in 1985. {NOTE*** VITAX lens was sold separately} Email with any questions or answers.
