Vintage Kodak Retina 1a 35mm Film Camera With Case

If you are reading this you probably know about this camera. Kodak had a nice quality line of German-built 35mm cameras with the Retinas. This example is a Retina 1a which was produced in the early 1950s.
The camera has been stored indoors, in its case, for the last several decades. It has an intact, original case and strap. The camera shutter seems to be working but I did not test the camera with film. There are some issue with appearance whi...ch I tried to show in the photos. These issues include: edge wear and crackling on the leather case where it bends, some of the black has worn off the on the exterior of the camera metal body, and there is some surface discoloration on the metal (top front). With respect to this metal discoloration, I don't know what it is but it is smooth and doesn't seem to be surface flaking or rust.
