You are bidding on the May 1917 issue of The Blue Book.This pulp is in nice shape for over 103 years old (see pics).The covers and spine have some creases and wear but nice.Pages are browning and some brittleness at edges. Somesplitting of front cover at top and bottom of spine, 1/2” +/-.
The Tarzan story in this issue is “The Nightmare” byEdgar Rice Burroughs. This stor...y is part of “The NewStories of Tarzan”, later published in book form as“Jungle Tales of Tarzan”.
There is a full page announcement of the upcoming serial byZane Grey, “The Roaring U.P. Trail” starting in the June 1917issue. Later published in book form as “The U.P. Trail”.
