Although not one of the more scarce books, this is a very clean and bright example of this novel, making it an excellent book to add to your collection. Bound in original black cloth boards, with gilt title to the spine. There is a very slight lean to... the spine and a hint of bumping to the spine ends. Apart from these minor points, however, the boards are clean and free from marks or blemishes and very smart indeed.Internally, the book is also in lovely condition. There is a neat ownership inscription to the ffep, but otherwise the pages are clean and bright and free from blemishes or marks and barely a hint of toning. The book is housed in the original dust jacket, which is in equally bright condition. Apart from a little spotting and staining to the edges and some minor bumping to the spine, it is clean and bright and vert smart indeed.Overall, this is a very smart example of this first edition, and it would make the perfect gift for any book collector or James Bond fan, as it would sit beautifully on any shelf.
