The original slipcase is present and has some scuffs, minor soiling and two small tears. The #1 ranked course in the world. A nice history of this great course, includes early black and white photos of the course under construction including the use of steam winches and horse teams to contour the cou...rse. Also includes current color pictures of the course as well as pictures of the course just after completion. There is a picture of the diabolical par three 14th hole just after the course opened. This edition of the club history had three printings: the first in 1963, a second in 1968 and a third in 1974. This is the third edition in its original state with the protective slipcase as issued.
