The book was written more than twenty years after the close of the Pioneer decade, and his nostalgia for those carefree days, when the Rhodesian society was young and imbued with the spirit of adventure and achievement, comes through with poignant clarity. Fine condition, dust jacket age tanned on spine and along edges, with slight wear at the corners (now in protective cover). Hint of spotting to the top edge, otherwise very clean and tidy, binding firm, all plates and map present. Rare in such nice condition, you will struggle to find a better one.
